Normal landing at leeds..

I’d never got on a plane again after this. Ptsd just watching it

I remember about 10 year ago I was coming from Magaluf to Newcastle and the landing was similar to this. I honest thought I was a goner. I don’t know how people enjoy flying

Had a few dodgy landings into Leeds, but as one captain announced. Why would you put a runway on the top of a hill !

Funniest thing is I was probably on that exact flight

LBA has a pretty average length runway but tends to get alot of crosswind duw to the runway position, also when landing runway32 like in this vid the touchdown zone is set at the highest part of the runway, miss it and u go into a float landing late, so in bad weather can be a handful.

I've had some pretty scetchy landings at Leeds, in much smaller planes. Its just one of those places, when its bad, its pretty bad.

Had the lucky opportunity to have 2 touch and go attempts at Leeds before finally landing 3rd attempt using the full runway

We went through a horrific patch of weather landing in NYC, a lady was sick behind me from us moving around so much. I cried when I got off the plane 😭

We flew jet2 to Newark the day before you from LBA and could not fault that flight either despite the lack of entertainment etc.
